PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deploy the Nuclear Quality Assurance Manual (IPS-Q2) at both a corporate and local level. Provide direction and oversight to Project QA Engineers at multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements related to all nuclear customer projects being executed by IOM and contracted sub-suppliers globally. Engage or provide management to specific projects on an as-needed basis.
- Interface with nuclear customers as necessary during proposals, sales conversations and project execution to ensure quality requirements are known, understood and satisfied.
- Provide the Delivery (Projects) QA interface during oversight activities performed by nuclear entities including regulators and customers. Manage and assess adequacy of internal audit programs at IOM Delivery locations performing nuclear work scope.
- Manage oversight of Nuclear Approved Suppliers including audits and performance assessments related to China Nuclear Delivery (projects) globally.
- Significant travel required (including international) – up to 30%
MANAGEMENT SCOPE
- Manage a team of 11 direct reports including 8 QA Engineers and 3 QC Engineers; Plus 2 indirect reports QA Engineers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Quality Assurance codes, standards, and regulations related to the IOM scope of nuclear solutions.
- System design, construction and testing (V&V) requirements.
- Nuclear power plant and system designs and functions.
- Strong management and communication capabilities.
- Knowledge of nuclear power and related industry regulations, codes and standards.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in a regulated industry with at least 2 years of nuclear power experience, management and Quality Assurance specifically desired
- BS Engineering, MS Management or Quality is desirable – or equivalent education and experience.
