What are my responsibilities? 


1. Report, identify and analyse  current market situation, product gaps and new business opportunities for valves & actuators in China and Asia (competitor analysis, market trends, 4p's analysis, new application types, etc.)

2. Create written and documented business proposals to optimize portfolio, close portfolio gaps or develop new business opportunities within field to grow Siemens business in China and Asia - and to gain global approval for them within Siemens.

Include business from other Siemens PLM's globally when beneficial and required.

3. Create detailed product requirement for new products and push/ feed them into and through the R&D process until release in timely manner for China and Asia.

(i.e.. adaptation/localization of global products, local new development etc.).

Include requirements for other Siemens PLM's globally when benefical and required.

4. Work out all product launch product-, marketing-, and training-materials and successfully rollout new products to Siemens sales offices in AP especially China.

Successfully promote existing products to Siemens sales offices to promote sales.

Includes all local and global FID products.

5. Train SBT-HVP Level 3 Product Managers and HVP sales forces in products & hydraulic applications to increase their HVAC and product competency to enable train the trainerof distributors, VAP's etc.

6. Support other Siemens PLM's (locally or globally) in gathering product requirements, market information etc. for FID products.


What do I need to qualify for this job? 

1. Strong technical knowledge of HVAC applications and equipment ie. hydraulics and valve sizing, control strategies, energy saving strategies ie for chiller systems, air handling units, boilers, district heating, etc.

2. Technical knowledge of product materials, construction and products (primarily different types of valves and actuators)

3. Good knowledge of competitors (business strategies, product functions and featurs, pricing and positioning, market shares and trends etc.) within field

4. Strong competence of strategic price/feature positioning, go to market,  and marketing within field. 

5. Excellent English.
