Responsibilities:

1.To oversee the whole accountabilities in manufacturing operations;

2.To participate and encourage production personnel to initiate ideas for improvements on: work organization, work processes, work-place layout, line- balancing, materials handling, WIP and scrap etc;

3.To take a major role in leading the sourcing of tools, machinery and equipment;

4.To drive optimization of manufacturing practice and cost reduction initiatives;

5.To manage, plan and direct operation to meet production schedule, on-time delivery, product quality and support new product development;

6.To ensure the plant management disciplines are adequate and followed to achieve quality objectives and delivery promising; to oversee production and capacity planning; 

7.To work and liaise with inter-departments closely to effectively deploy resources; and

8.To formulate process and methods to achieve optimal solutions for optimal manufacturing.

Requirements:

9.Tertiary education in mechanical engineering, PIE or related discipline with at least 8 years experience in manufacturing industry, of which a minimum of 3 years in senior managerial position;

10.Experience in metal forming & fabricating, injection molding, light manual and automatic assembly and various surface finishing processes preferred;

11.Familiar with the planning, forecasting and realizing the manufacturing operations;

12.Proactive self-starter with detail minded and cost conscious individual; confidence in strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making;

13.Strong leadership and people management skills under a traditional Chinese culture; and

14.Good command of English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
