ACCOUNTABILITIES 

. On time test turbocharger per internal and/or external requirements 


. Maintain timing, control and tracking for tests within the organization 


. Evaluate turbocharger parts reliability by engine durability test and gas stand test per internal and/or external requirements 


. Complete documentation of test results per internal and/or external requirements 


. Maintain and optimize validation and release reporting format and database, including report format, standard measurement requirements, etc. 


. Creating detailed work instructions for any specific test facility requirements and/or special processes 


. Provide smooth interchange of ideas and information between managers, engineers, co-workers, and customers. This requires maintaining daily personal contact with all facets of the function’s operations and remaining awareness of current progress 


. Coordinate support from other functional areas (quality, production manufacturing, supply chain, application engineering and R&D) as needed to test turbocharger at engine dyno, gas stand, vehicle, etc. 


. The validation & release engineer is the liaison between internal groups at BorgWarner Turbo Systems (application engineer, design, quality,…), vendors and customers as well for our global sites within worldwide organization to ensure successful production, documentation and quality level for the complete turbocharger. 


. Enforce health, safety, security and emergency systems awareness. Employees should strictly abide the EHS rules and regulations and behavior guide line in the plant; wear PPE in right way; actively participate in EHS training; do housekeeping at work; report accidents and unsafe issues immediately, join the accident disposal. Specific presentation can be reached in TMS system and individual job description. 


. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor. 



EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE 

. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or similar 


. 2 years working experience or more within one position, in the automotive industry preferred, supplement experience is beneficial 


. Deep knowledge of engine / vehicle and test equipments 


. Basic understanding of manufacturing process in automotive sector – Automotive components or turbocharger is beneficial. Theoretical background of TC is preferred 


. Knowledge about 2D drawings and it’s correlation to 3D real parts 


. Professional verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage technical details with customer 


. Team player and good organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines 


. Solving technical issues by testing & validation process 


. Professional verbal and written communication skills essential 


. Strong ability of using English in verbal and written form is preferred, German language (or others) is beneficial  


. Proficient with standard Microsoft office products 


. Experience in engine or vehicle testing is preferred 


. Driver license C1 is beneficial
