Job requirements:

1.3+ year working experience in the HVAC industry (consulting engineer, mechanical contractor, product/solution manufacturing company)

2.1+ years working experience in marketing management or product management 

3.Experiences in management of project team. Direct leadership experience is not a must.

Ideally has working experience with a multinational company

4.Strong HVAC application know-how, i.e. in controls

5.Good knowledge of Building Automation controls 

6. Solid backround in marketing and Product Management

7. Good knowledge of Chinese controsl market and competitive landscape

8. Good knowledge and strong interest in technical topics for controls

9. Good command of Chinese and English language

Job responsibilities:

1.Definition of the product- / portfolio-strategy for Building Automation Controls in China together with the Segment Head of IC BT CPS SRA China (market & competitor analysis, definition of target markets, definition of target portfolios, competitive strategy, etc).

2.Identification and analysis of current product gaps and business opportunities in Building Automation Controls in China.

3.Evaluation of options to close portfolio gaps, i.e. 

i. adaptation of a global product for the Chinese market (localisation)

ii. local development of a new system controller

iii. partnering with a local company 

iv. acquisition of a local company

4.Work out business proposals for Controls localization projects in close cooperation with the global product line managers in Switzerland and USA.

5.Define the competitive positioning and the marketing mix (4P's) for new Controls but also for existing key products.

6.Develop detailed product requirements & product specifications for localized building automation controls and feed them into development.

7.Work out all necessary product documentation and marketing material (application sheets, brouchures, selection tools, promotion material) for the localized products.

8.Rollout new products to IC BT CPS sales organisations in China (and ev. to other countries).

9.Train IC BT CPS Level 3 Product Managers and CPS sales forces in controls products & applications to increase their Building Automation and product competency.

10.Provide strong and proactive product support to Level 3 PMs and sales forces. 

11.Support CPS sales in important account activities.
