What are my responsibilities? 
Provides mechanical engineering support for existing products maintenance, enhancement and cost reduction from design perspectives, i.e. drawings, specifications, testing, engineering change orders, etc.
Completes design, development, testing and related documentation for new product development projects and existing product improvement projects following PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes.
Communicates with project manager and functional manager on regular basis about project task planning, status of planned tasks, risks and impact analysis, etc.
Conducts reviews with peers of same function and cross function and managers about project plan, risk mitigation, design, testing and documentation.
Communicates with project manager and product lifecycle manager for requirement engineering and decomposition.

What do I need to qualify for this job? 
Knowledge of processes for product design from concept to release to production;
Product design documentation for integrated system, sub-systems and modules;
Risk mitigation testing and Verification testing
Design for manufacturing (assembling, welding, precision machined parts, injection moulded plastic parts, aluminum die casted parts, sheet metal parts, etc.);
Fluent use of mechanical deisgn CAD system, Pro Engineer or NX;
GD&T and tolerance stackup analysis.

What else do I need to know?
8 years mechanical design experience.
3 years experience in a product design project team.
3 years or above international working experience in a global company.
